Tara Burtch
CAT(C), BKIN (Honours)
Tara completed her undergraduate degree in Honours Kinesiology at Brock University in 2007 and her Certificate in Athletic Therapy at York University in 2009.
Tara has worked and volunteered for many different sports teams throughout her career including soccer, wrestling, baseball, hockey and rugby.
When she is not working, Tara enjoys spending time outside running, swimming and biking.
Tara believes manual therapy techniques, exercises and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are key in the rehabilitation of injuries.
Kate VanPaemel
CK, B.Sc. (Kin)
Kate is a certified kinesiologist and a member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association.
She completed her degree at the University of Waterloo in the Applied Health Science Facility (Kinesiology Program) in 2011.
She is also a member of CAN-FIT-PRO as a fitness instructor and is continually taking courses to expand her knowledge.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, family and pets, as well as playing sports.
Justin Collins
B.Sc.(Hons., Kin), MPT
Justin graduated with a Masters of Physical Therapy following the completion of his B.Sc. Honours degree in Kinesiology. Justin has obtained his Level 1 Manual Therapy certification through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is pursuing his certification in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI).
During his undergraduate degree program, Justin submitted a research paper on the History of Sports Medicine. He brings his passion for treating orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries and has experience in the rehabilitation of motor vehicle accident and workplace injury patients.
Justin became a physiotherapist to help others improve their function and well-being, while at the same time empowering them to take an active role in their own health management.
John Josipovic
M.SC.PT and BKIN (Honours)
John Josipovic graduated from the University of Toronto (U of T) with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. While at U of T, he was able to gain clinical experience with orthopedic and neurology populations by working in both hospital and private practice settings.
Before attending U of T, John received an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Brock University where he gained extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, anatomy, and health promotion.
With a large passion for sports and outdoor activities, John likes to spend his free time playing soccer, hockey, biking, weight training, and running among other things. John is looking forward to gaining more clinical experience in orthopedics at the Arthritis and Sports Medicine Centre and plans to take educational courses in acupuncture and manual therapy to increase his knowledge base.
